It is with a heavy heart and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Natalie Kauinaneaokailikea Kekahuna, age 42, on December 28, 2024, after a brave and valiant battle with cancer. Ilikea was a radiant light, a pure joy to all who knew her. She lived her life with an unwavering spirit, always putting the happiness and well-being of others before her own. Even in the face of her own suffering, she found solace in her family and the love of those around her. Her heart, full of compassion and kindness, was a gift to all who were fortunate enough to encounter it. A force to be reckoned with, Ilikea embodied a rare blend of strength, grace, and resilience. She stood unyielding in the face of those individuals who tried to break her will or shake her determination to fight for her health and family. Yet, beneath her unwavering resolve, there was a softness—an innate gentleness that radiated from her spirit. Her laughter was infectious, her warmth undeniable, and her love infinite. She had the extraordinary gift of making those she cherished feel as though they were the most important people in the world. Though her journey was brief, her impact was immeasurable. Ilikea leaves behind a legacy of love, courage, and unshakeable devotion to her family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her children, her family, and her friends—those who were touched by her light and those who will forever carry her spirit within them. In the stillness of our grief, we find comfort in knowing that her love, her joy, and her beautiful soul will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, dear Ilikea. You will always be loved, always remembered, and forever missed. Ilikea is survived by her four children: Kana'ukea, La'akea, Aumoa, and 'O'ili; her sister: Maile; her brother: Lonohiwa; brother-in-law: Travis; sister-in-law: Chelsea; nephews: Haokea, Wesley, and Evan; nieces: Lilyana and Poliala. Services will be held January 25, 2025 at Lakeside Reception Hall, located at 4005 N Orange Blossom Trl, Orlando, FL 32804.
