Brenetha Millis, born April 30, 1928, in Clarendon, Jamaica, departed for her eternal home on Easter Sunday, April 5, 2026, in Orlando, Florida. She was the devoted mother of four children: Errol (deceased), Ashford, Christopher, and her daughter Primrose Millis. Affectionately known as Sister Millis by her church family and Sah Bee by her loved ones, Brenetha was a shining light to all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her life was marked by love, compassion, and unwavering faith in God. Her passing leaves a deep void in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who were touched by her presence. Brenetha is survived by her loving children and was cherished by her sister, Vinetta Burke, and her brothers, Hedley Lewin and Cornelius Simpson. She leaves behind many nieces, nephews, in‑laws, cousins, grandchildren, great‑grandchildren, and great‑great‑grandchildren who were blessed by her joyful spirit. Brenetha’s love for God blossomed into a lifelong ministry that began at the New Testament Church of God in Jamaica, where she served faithfully as a member, church secretary, and accountant until her migration to the United States in the late 1980s. Her dedication to her faith and her desire to share the Word of God reflected her generous and servant‑hearted nature. Outside of ministry, Brenetha found joy as a home healthcare provider in the United States, tending compassionately to those in need. She was also a gifted seamstress, baker, and cook who delighted in nurturing her family and anyone who crossed her path. Those who knew her will remember her personalized attention, her infectious laughter, her sense of humor, her deep‑rooted faith in Jesus, and her remarkable ability to befriend strangers. She carried a rare gift for making others feel seen, welcomed, and loved. A viewing honoring the life of Brenetha Millis will be held on April 18, 2026, from 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Good Life Funeral Home, 8408 East Colonial Drive, Orlando, FL. Funeral Services will be at 4:00 pm Though Brenetha’s physical presence no longer graces our lives, she lived a long and noble life. Her spirit continues to inspire and uplift us. May her memory be a blessing, and may we carry forward her legacy of love, faith, and devotion. As you continue to worship Jesus, dear Brenetha, your light will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
