David Carl Hadas

September 16, 1941 - December 11, 2020

David Carl Hadas, 79, died peacefully in his sleep on December 11, 2020 after a traumatic brain injury nearly 3 years ago, that he never fully recovered from. David was born September 16, 1941 in Ypsilanti Michigan. He worked at Ford Motors until he took his 2 young sons, David and Steven to Key west to raise them near his Brother Sam, who was stationed at the Navy base there. He worked in engineering at Florida Keys Community College when he met and married his wife Lori who was attending nursing school at the time. After she graduated, they moved to Orlando where she worked as a nurse at AdentHealth Orlando and he worked in engineering at AdventHealth East. When he retired, he enjoyed the home life, helping to raise their children and doing the things he loved like, fishing, puzzles, car and air shows, and working on his 1923 T-Bucket. David is survived by his wife, Lori and their children, David, his wife Kerry, Steven, Jessica, and Dylan, and stepchildren Kimberly and Danielle and her fiancé, Ben; grandchildren, Karissa, Tyler, Rachel, Stevie, and Hannah, and great grandson, Zachary. He was preceded in death by his parents, Nathalie and Steven Hadas, stepfather Howard Shock, brother Samuel, sister Linda, and Dean and Cynthia, who were babies when they died. A memorial service with a celebration of life will be planned for a future time in Key West.
