Savannah Grace Austin was born on July 8, 2026, and peacefully passed away on July 11, 2026. Though her time on earth lasted only three precious days, Savannah's life was filled with immeasurable love, remarkable strength, and the unwavering devotion of her family. Savannah was the cherished and deeply loved first daughter of Brooke and Tamir Austin. From the moment she entered the world, she brought immeasurable joy and forever changed the hearts of all who loved her. She was a true fighter, facing every moment with quiet courage, and throughout her life, she knew nothing but love. In their brief time together, Savannah and her daddy created memories that will be treasured forever—watching Lakers basketball together and ripping packs of basketball cards, moments filled with hope, dreams, and a father's endless love. Savannah was happiest resting peacefully in her mommy's arms, her tiny hand wrapped around her mommy's finger, finding comfort in the place she loved most. She loved napping with her mommy, and whenever she heard her mommy's voice, her little body would relax, finding peace in the familiar sound that had comforted her from the very beginning. Brooke and Tamir were blessed with three unforgettable days surrounded by family, love, and the precious gift of getting to know their beautiful daughter. Every cuddle, every touch, every glance, and every heartbeat they shared became a lifetime of memories they will carry in their hearts forever. Savannah is survived by her loving parents, Brooke and Tamir Austin; her grandparents, Katie and Mike Dougherty and Kimyata Austin; her great-grandparents, Joyce and Kerry Sweeney, Michele and David Austin, and Laurie and Darryl Dougherty; her aunts, Brielle and Kaia Dougherty; her uncle, Kade Dougherty; and many loving great-aunts, great-uncles, cousins, and extended family members who already adored her. She is also lovingly remembered by her doggy brother, Chewy, who faithfully snuggled on Mommy's tummy while Savannah grew and will surely miss feeling her gentle kicks. Although Savannah's life was heartbreakingly brief, the love she inspired will endure forever. She leaves behind footprints on the hearts of all who knew and loved her, and a bond that death cannot break. She will always be Brooke and Tamir's precious daughter—forever loved, forever remembered, and forever missed. "Some people only dream of angels. We held one in our arms."
