Monique (Micki) Phillese Dimond, age 57, passed away on Sunday, January 4, 2026, in Kissimmee, Florida, following heart failure. Beloved mother of Jeremy (Jessica) Dimond-Osting and Alexys Dimond. Cherished grandmother of Sylas Dimond-Osting and lovingly awaiting the arrival of a granddaughter, who already held a special place in her heart. Devoted daughter of Victoria Szymanczyk and the late Walter Szymanczyk. Dear sister of Lisa Dimond (Brian Beato). Loving niece of Matthew (Betty) Burkholder. Caring aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Originally from the Midwest, Micki spent the majority of her life there before later years brought her to Florida. Those who knew her remember her fun, free-spirited nature and the warmth she carried with her wherever she went. Micki had a way of striking up conversation with anyone, genuinely listening, and making people feel seen, valued, and included. She was known for her beautiful smile, her playful humor, her silly nicknames for the people and pets she loved, and her ability to turn everyday moments into lasting memories. She loved music, animals — especially cats and monkeys — road trips, camping, swimming, garage sales, bingo, and snuggling in to watch good television. She found joy in simple pleasures and connection, whether it was a long drive with music playing, laughter in the kitchen, or quiet moments spent with family. Above all else, Micki was a devoted and loving mother. Her children were her heart, her pride, and her greatest accomplishment. She was their biggest supporter, lifelong friend, and fiercest believer, always encouraging them to be kind, to believe in themselves, and to follow what made them happy. Her love, laughter, and unmistakable spirit will live on through her children, grandchildren, and all who were lucky enough to know her. Cremation services will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Micki’s memory may be made to support her children and grandchildren, who meant everything to her. The family also invites those who knew Micki to honor her by sharing memories, kindness, and the love she so freely gave. No service at this time
