Juana Sanchez Diaz, 86, of Orlando, Florida passed away Friday, January 3, 2020. She was born on November 1, 1933 in Dorado, Puerto Rico. It is with deep sadness that our family said goodbye to this beautiful woman. We are rejoicing that she is home with our Lord and has entered into His presence! However, with her passing the family has lost one of their greatest loves. If you knew her you loved her, it was impossible not to! She was the life of every party, dancing into old age with ease, laughing and cracking jokes, feisty, and absolutely the most genuine and loving person! She was a seamstress, creative, a caregiver and best cook ever (especially her Pastelles) She was everyone's grandma. She had a heart of gold. She was ready with open arms to give you a hug and knew when you needed one. She was a great domino player, and very competitive. She was classy and graceful. She loved her family and the Lord with a passion like no other. In return her family has adored her. Though she is gone from this world her legacy and memories go on in every single family member and friend that she has blessed with her life. We see her in her children who love like she loved, her grand kids whose lives were better for having her as their grandma, and even her great grand kids who have her fierceness and silly ways. Most of all she was a leader spiritually for this family with her constant prayers and example of Jesus and for that we are most grateful. Juana is survived by her daughter, Nilda Esther DeJesus Galagarza; son, Edwin DeJesus (wife, Daisy DeJesus); son, Edgardo Sanchez; son, Ademar Sanchez (wife, Gloria E. Sanchez); daughter, Gisela Garcia; daughter, Maribel Crescente; son, Ramon Arce (wife, Diana Arroyo); granddaughter, Jessica Toledo Larroy (husband, Robert Larroy); grandson, Andy Galagarza (wife, Geneva Serrano); grandson, Edwin DeJesus, Jr.; grandson, Jose DeJesus; granddaughter, Vivian DeJesus; granddaughter, Erica Maria Sanchez (husband, Rolvin Jolly); granddaughter, Julie Ann Sanchez; grandson, Angel Daniel Figueroa (wife, Zulaimy Figueroa); grandson, Edwin Jonathan Garcia (wife, Corrina Camacho Aguirre); granddaughter, Natasha Nicole Oliver (husband, Jacob Alexis Oliver); graddaughter, Malaine Mayfield (husband, Durrell Mayfield); granddaughter, Melisha Maldonado; grandson, Jovan Maldonado (wife, Jordan Maldonado); grandson, Ramon Joel Arce; grandson, Jason Arce; and great grandchildren, Jaiden, Shayn, Nikolas, Trinity, Talon, Tobias, Jasiel, Jaeliana, Zoey, Yoelis Michelle, Jedaias Emanuel, Onaean Jaaziel, Jamin, Jada, Jenna, Josie, Malachi, Elisa, and Elias. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Nilda DeJesus. There will be a viewing on Thursday, January 9, 2020 at 4PM at Faith Assembly of God, Stephens Chapel, located at 9307 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida 32825. Services will begin at 5PM at the church. Service will be held at The Stephens Chapel located inside Faith Assembly of God on 9307 Curry Ford Road, Orlando, Florida 32825. Please use lot 4 for convenient parking and entrance to the chapel.
