Gladys Naranjo, a devoted Christian, cherished mother, loving grandmother, adored great-grandmother, and strong Cuban businesswoman, passed away peacefully at the age of 93 in her home in Orlando, Florida, surrounded by the family who loved her deeply. Born in Pinar del Río, Cuba, Gladys grew up with a spirit marked by determination, joy, and resilience. From a young age, she possessed a clear sense of purpose—she knew what she wanted in life and worked tirelessly to build it. Her strength, ambition, and courage carried her through every chapter of her journey, from her early years in Cuba to the life she created alongside her family in the United States. Gladys was a woman transformed by faith. After becoming a Christian, she fell deeply and wholeheartedly in love with Jesus. Her walk with God shaped everything about her—her heart, her choices, her compassion, and the way she treated others. She lived her faith boldly, loving people the way Christ loved, forgiving freely, and offering kindness without hesitation. Her devotion was unwavering, and her passion for God radiated in the way she spoke, prayed, and lived every day. She was joyful, tender, and incredibly loving. Her presence brought warmth and comfort into every room, and her gentle spirit made everyone feel welcomed and valued. Whether she was sharing stories, praying over her family, or laughing with those she cherished, Gladys carried a light that will continue to shine through the generations she leaves behind. In her final years, Gladys faced difficult moments, yet she was never without love. Her son, Rey, and his wife, Gloria, lovingly stepped in and made sure she remained at home, surrounded by comfort and family rather than the walls of an elderly facility. They cared for her with patience, dignity, and compassion—tending to her needs day and night, ensuring she felt safe, valued, and cherished. Their devotion was a beautiful reflection of the love Gladys poured into her family throughout her life. Gladys is survived by her beloved children, Reynaldo Naranjo and Gloria Naranjo; her grandchildren, Tiffany Naranjo, Brianna Naranjo, Rachel Naranjo, Amanda Naranjo, and Francesca Naranjo; and her precious great-grandchildren, Elijah Oropesa, Myla Witt, and Gabriella Rodriguez—each forever marked by her love, guidance, and unwavering faith. A true matriarch, Gladys dedicated her life to her family and to God, leaving behind a legacy of strength, devotion, and grace that will never be forgotten. Rest in peace, Gladys.
