In Loving Memory of Carole Josephine Durand Carole Josephine Durand, 74, of Orlando, Florida, peacefully entered eternal rest on June 22, 2026. She was born on February 6, 1952, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti, to the late Roger Dubuisson and Marie Clare Beauvais. As a young girl, Carole moved with her family to Boston, Massachusetts, where she grew up and graduated from Malden High School. From an early age, she discovered her life's passion for sewing. Family members fondly recalled that at just three years old, she took her mother's curtains to create a dress—a glimpse of the extraordinary talent that would define her life. Carole became a gifted seamstress whose creativity and craftsmanship were admired by all who knew her. She had an incredible ability to bring ideas to life; if someone handed her a simple sketch, she could transform it into a beautifully crafted garment. She generously shared her knowledge by teaching others to sew, inspiring countless people with her patience, skill, and passion for her craft. Her work was more than a profession—it was an expression of her love and creativity. Beyond her remarkable talent, Carole was known for her joyful spirit. She loved to laugh, dance, and fill every room with warmth and happiness. Lighthearted and loving, she found great joy in bringing family and friends together. Her kitchen was always open, and she delighted in preparing delicious meals for family gatherings and celebrations, making everyone feel welcomed and cared for. Carole's greatest treasure was her family. She was a devoted wife, a loving mother, a cherished grandmother, a caring sister, aunt, and godmother whose kindness and generosity touched many lives. She is lovingly survived by her devoted husband, Guy Marie Serge Durand; her daughters, Marie Flore Beaubien, Tamara Dubuisson, and Quenia Charles; her brothers, Maurice and Elie; her sisters, Yvrose, Chantal, Gladys, and Garcelle; and her beloved grandchildren, Shaiheem, Fatima, and Kingston. She also leaves behind her cherished nieces, Melissa, Kim, Mayera, and Gina; her beloved godson, Jonathon; her goddaughter, Empress Brown; along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory. Carole's legacy is one of love, creativity, generosity, and joy. Through every stitch she sewed, every meal she prepared, every laugh she shared, and every life she touched, she left behind a beautiful example of a life well lived. She will be deeply missed, forever remembered, and lovingly carried in the hearts of all who knew her.
