With heavy hearts but steadfast faith, we announce that B.F. "Buddy" Suddeth III went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on October 14, 2024, at the age of 75. He passed away suddenly in Oviedo, Florida, following emergency surgery, surrounded by his devoted family. Born on July 24, 1949, in Orange Park, Florida, Buddy’s life was defined by faith, service, and love. A proud patriot, he served his country with distinction as a U.S. Army helicopter pilot during the Vietnam War. His courage, loyalty, and dedication to his fellow soldiers were a reflection of his selfless and unwavering character. Buddy shared 44 beautiful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Carole Suddeth. Together, they built a life centered on faith, love, and devotion, raising their children and instilling in them the values of kindness, humility, and a deep relationship with God. A man of faith, Buddy was an active member of Faith Assembly of God, where he served faithfully as an usher for many years. He later became a member of East Coast Believers Church, continuing his walk with Christ in every stage of life. Known for his sharp sense of humor and infectious laugh, Buddy brought joy to those around him. He found peace and happiness fishing and shrimping, but his greatest treasure was always his relationship with Jesus and his family. Buddy leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and cherished memories. He is survived by his wife, Carole Suddeth; his children, Cora “Mandy” Weigle, Tiffany Jordan, Noelle Miranda, and James Suddeth; his grandchildren, Dillon Mallett, Cole Mallett, Emilee Jordan, Christian Jordan, and Landon Miranda; and a host of extended family and dear friends. He is now reunited in Heaven with his son, Gabriel Bryan Suddeth. A celebration of Buddy’s life and faith will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 1:00 PM at East Coast Believers Church, 3053 W State Rd 426, Oviedo, FL 32765. Friends and family are warmly invited to honor the incredible man he was and the unwavering faith he exemplified. Though his passing was sudden and leaves a profound void, we rejoice in the promise of eternal life through Christ Jesus. We find peace knowing Buddy is now in the presence of the Lord, hearing the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant." (Matthew 25:23).
